General Terms and Conditions for Legal eMeet by Egency S.à.r.l

  1. Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the online meeting management and organization service provided called Legal eMeet, a project of Egency S.à.r.l, with its registered address at 14, rue Robert Stümper L-2557 Luxembourg, and registered under RCB registration number: B266205 (referred to as “Legal eMeet” or “Service”). By accessing or using Legal eMeet, you (“User” or “You”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Legal eMeet provides a platform to lawyers to organise and manage online meetings. The platform includes a secured dashboard for the lawyers, as well as a secured dashboard for clients or other participants of the meeting. The dashboards are password secured.  

  1. Secure Accounts

Legal eMeet provides secure accounts for lawyers and clients to facilitate online meetings and collaboration. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

  1. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

Users of Legal eMeet agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during online meetings. Legal eMeet also commits to keeping user data confidential and will not disclose sensitive information to third parties without proper authorization, except as required by law.

  1. Force Majeure

Legal eMeet shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms when such failure or delay is a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, strikes, riots, or government regulations (“Force Majeure Event”).

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Luxembourg. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Luxembourg.

  1. Liability and Indemnification
  2. Limitation of Liability: Legal eMeet shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the Service.
  3. Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify and hold Legal eMeet, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with their use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.
  4. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of Legal eMeet by providing one month’s written notice. Legal eMeet reserves the right to terminate or suspend any user’s access to the Service at its sole discretion, with or without cause.

  1. Pricing and Payment
  2. The price for using Legal eMeet starts at 59 EUR per month.
  3. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

In case of non-payment of the subscription, Legal eMeet reserves the right to close lawyers accounts. In this case Legal eMeet will send an email informing the customer about the suspension of the subscription. Reactivation of the account will result to reactivation fees.

  1. Modification of Terms

Legal eMeet reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Service after such modifications shall constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and Legal eMeet, superseding any prior agreements or understandings. Any amendments or waivers must be in writing and signed by both parties.

By using Legal eMeet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.
